Network meeting in Wroclaw

In the spirit of Görlitz/Zgorzelec as a European city, representatives from business, politics and education came together in the liaison office of the Free State of Saxony on May 15, 2024. Founding Director Prof. Günther Hasinger presented the German Center for Astrophysics and its visions for the future - national, international, global. Dr. Oskar Karczewki, Head of the Research and Innovation Department of the Polish Space Agency POLSA, spoke about challenges and trends in the space industry in Poland, while Anna Kurzynoga from the Saxony Economic Development Corporation highlighted the advantages of possible cooperation with Saxony.

At the subsequent get-together in the Forum Kulinarne restaurant, everyone took the opportunity to make new contacts, exchange ideas, strengthen cross-border cooperation and connect science, research and business.
