We at DESY Day

On November 2, 2023, the DZA team attended DESY Day at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron in Hamburg. There, the designated founding director of the DZA, Günther Hasinger, was introduced as a new appointment at DESY. In addition to moderating the segments for the DESY Promotion Award and the DESY Awards for Exceptional Achievements, Stefan Ohm received the award in the category "Social Commitment and Outreach" for initiating and organizing the Ukraine Winter School 2023.
