From 15th to 19th September 2025, the German Centre for Astrophysics (DZA) in Görlitz, which is under construction, will organise the International Annual Conference of the Astronomical Society (AG) under the title "The restless Universe".

Scientists from all over the world gathered in the heart of Europe from 16th - 20th June. This year's SKAO conference took place in Görlitz/Lusatia.

Our new ORCA quest camera on the 1.23 m telescope of the Calar Alto Observatory in southern Spain has been put into service! This is a decisive step for the time domain Astronomy and technology development here in Görlitz.

From 16th - 20th June 2025, 550 participants will discuss the future of the world's largest radio telescope at an international science conference in the European city of Görlitz/Zgorzelec.
